Terms of Service
Last updated: May 22, 2026
Overview
Welcome to Sakrylle API. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Sakrylle (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the Sakrylle API service. By registering an account, using an API key, or otherwise accessing the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Service description
Sakrylle API is an AI API gateway platform that forwards user requests to upstream model providers through a unified interface. The current scope of the Service includes:
- An OpenAI-compatible API surface and an Anthropic-native format surface
- Forwarding of requests to integrated upstream model providers (currently Anthropic and OpenAI)
- Console features for accounts, balance, API keys, and usage statistics
The Service is solely a forwarding and billing layer. We do not modify or further train any model. Model capabilities, limits, and policies are determined by the upstream providers.
Upstream availability
- Upstream providers may adjust model availability, capability boundaries, context length, or pricing at any time
- Upstream outages, throttling, degradation, or regional restrictions are outside our control
- We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of upstream-caused incidents through platform announcements or email, but we do not assume liability for any resulting losses
- We may add, remove, or replace models in response to upstream changes without itemized advance notice
Billing and payment
- The Service is prepaid; charges are settled based on token consumption per call
- Prices follow what is published in the console; the actual price for the same model can differ across groups, determined by the group's rate multiplier
- We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time in response to upstream cost changes, exchange rate changes, or operational needs; adjustments do not apply retroactively to already consumed amounts
- When the balance is insufficient, new requests will be rejected; resuming the Service requires a new top-up
Refund policy
- Unused balance may be refunded within 3 days of top-up
- Refunds are returned via the original payment method, typically taking 5 to 10 business days to process
- Already consumed amounts (including amounts billed for failed calls) are not refundable
- Accounts terminated for violations of these Terms or the Usage Policy are not eligible for refunds of any remaining balance
- Submit refund requests by email to support@sakrylle.com, including your account email and the relevant top-up records
Intellectual property
- Ownership of user-submitted prompts and model-generated outputs is determined by the agreement between you and the upstream provider; we make no claim to either
- You are responsible for ensuring your inputs do not infringe any third party's intellectual property or other lawful rights
- The code, design, documentation, brand, and trademarks of the Sakrylle API platform belong to Sakrylle and may not be copied or used commercially without permission
- When using upstream models such as Anthropic or OpenAI, you must also comply with the applicable provider's terms and IP policies
User conduct
Use of the Service is subject to the Usage Policy and the Login Terms. These Terms together with those documents form the complete set of rules governing your use of the Service.
Limitation of liability
- The Sakrylle API is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance
- We are not liable for:
- Effects caused by upstream model providers' outages, throttling, or content policy changes
- The truthfulness, accuracy, legality, or fitness for purpose of model outputs
- Any consequence arising from your violation of these Terms or your local laws
- Any indirect, incidental, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, goodwill, or data
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you actually paid to the Service (and have not had refunded) during the 12 months preceding the dispute
Dispute resolution
- Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation
- If negotiation fails, either party may bring an action in a court of competent jurisdiction at the location of the Sakrylle entity
- The formation, validity, interpretation, and enforcement of these Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules
Changes to the Terms
- We may revise these Terms at any time; the revised version will be published on the documentation site
- Material changes affecting billing, scope of liability, or refund rules will be announced through platform announcements or email at least 30 days in advance
- Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms; if you do not accept them, please stop using the Service and you may apply for a refund according to these Terms
Miscellaneous
- If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect
- Any failure or delay by us to exercise a right shall not be deemed a waiver of that right
- These Terms, together with the Usage Policy, Login Terms, Service-specific Terms, and Supported Regions, constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the use of the Service
